Depression ( Clinical depression or Major depression) is a common mental illness worldwide. It is a mood disorder that causes sadness, loss of interest in things you once enjoyed, and negatively affects how you think, feel, and act. If Depression left unchecked, it could decrease a person’s productivity to function both at work and home and can lead to severe medical health issues in the future. At worst, it can lead to suicide. Depression is different from regular mood swings, which people experience regularly. Luckily, Depression is curable. According to the WHO, more than 50 million people suffer from Depression in India.
